BEGINNERS' PERMANENT MAKEUP COURSE OUTLINE

Procedure and Techniques Developed and Inspired by Original Methods from the Orient. All theory is presented on a Big Screen with a PowerPoint presentation by Instructor

Day 1 (9:00 am - 6:00 pm)

Registration will be from 9:00 - 10:00 am

Lunch Break will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm

COLOR THEORY AND USAGE

Basic color theory

choosing colors for eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner
Color correction and camouflaging
Written Test: Color Theory

EYEBROW SHAPING

Correct technique for outline
Symmetry and design
Lab Work - symmetrical shaping

TECHNIQUE FOR EYEBROWS

Machine positioning and skin support
Lab Work - machine positioning (on mannequin)
Permanent makeup motion: back and forth, circular
Lab Work - motion technique
Lab Work - brow shaping (on mannequin)

SAFETY

What risks exist?
Sanitizing a work station, yourself & Instruments

MACHINE ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY

Identification of parts
Assembly for correct operation
Lab Work - assembly and disassembly

USING A MACHINE: EYEBROW TECHNIQUE

Eyebrow outline and fill-in
Evenness and density of brow design
Performance Test - outline, fill in (on mannequin)

HOMEWORK

Complete 2 sets of eyebrows on mannequin

IMPORTANT NOTES

Students are required to complete 2 procedures (Eyebrows and eyeliner or lipliner) If students have time, they can complete a third procedure.

Bring eyebrow model on day 2 at 1:00
Bring eyeliner OR lipliner model on day 3 at 1:00
Bring camera, dress in black on day 2 and 3
